Life at Amatopo Rainforest Retreat
Life at Amatopo Rainforest Retreat is a perfect blend of exitement and relaxation. We have a total of six lodges, two of which are completely detached with fabulous views over the Corantijn River. In the main lodge you will also find two luxury suites with beautiful views from your bed of the river with optimal privacy. The intimate atmosphere, small groups of visitors, a lot of personal attention and excellent care make you forget your everyday worries. Our goal is to disconnect you from stress and bustle and from the efforts of every day and to reconnect you with nature and yourself. Disconnect and Reconnect.
You are surrounded by pure nature
The resort is located on the banks of a beautiful wide stretch of the Corantijn River with plenty of views of the rocks, rapids and completely unspoilt jungle. You are surrounded by pure nature and abundant wildlife, both in the forest and in the water and above your head in the air. Breathe in the pure oxygen to the fullest and feel your energy restored. Enjoy all the sounds of the forest, undisturbed by human sounds. No traffic, no music, no planes. Pure and untouched.
