(Opening early 2025) Enjoy the breathtaking view from our restaurant situated 6 meters above the river. This is your favorite spot at Amatopo for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In the evening watch the sunset and feel the cooling breeze while you enjoy our prime buffet dinner. After dinner, our cosy atmospheric Topo Bar will open for a relaxing drink, a refreshing cocktail, and lovely company.
Private balcony Rooms and Suites
Enjoy the river view or the view from the top of the hill from your private balcony where you can relax, sunbathe, see birds passing by and take in the beautiful Amatopo atmosphere.
Breakfast, Lunch and Diner
All is included in your package, three meals a day (and surprise snacks along the way) and soft drinks, water. Alcoholic beverages at our bar and items on our attractive bar menu will be charged separately.
Secure Satellite WiFi
We provide a secure and fast internet connection at selected locations on our premises. You can purchase a voucher valid for 12 hours or 24 hours to login on the system and connect with your people at home or upload those amazing pictures you took on your social media!
Air-conditioning
Each room, cottage or house is equipped with converter air-conditioning to keep you cool when needed. The rooms have also ceiling fans to provide a cooling air stream.
Hot and cold water
Every bathroom in the guest facilities has a warm shower. Believe us when we say that you will even enjoy the cold shower more in our climate!
Mini-Fridge
Your room is equipped with a mini fridge so you always have a cold drink at hand. Non-alcoholic beverages are part of your package so refresh whenever you feel like it!
River View Lodge and Suites
We are very proud of the beautiful Corantijn river so we have situated all guest houses to have river view. Some are even 15 meters above river level so the word breathtaking is appropriate.
English and Dutch Speaking staff
Our multi lingual staff can communicate with you in English and Dutch. We also have French speaking members so we can understand you in many ways. Of course our local employees are happy to teach you a few words in Trio also that you can take home with you!
Leisure activities
As we are in our opening phase (2024) other activities than mentioned in the programs are in development.
Laundry Service
We provide laundry service (washing and drying, folding) for a modest fee.
Kayaks
Included in our programs are lovely kayak experiences where we will bring you upstream and let you float downstream in all quietness and peace.
Fishing rods
We have well equipped fishing rods with reels, braided lines, steel underlines and lures available for you to rent out if you haven’t brought your own
Hammocks
We provide ample hammocks for our guests on trips, overnight bushcamps or just to enjoy and doze a while when on the resort.

Walking through the jungle allows you to immerse yourself in the vibrant sounds and colors of nature, making each step a journey into the heart of the wild
