After yesterday's efforts, today is a relative quiet day that (depending on the weather conditions) starts for the early birds with a sunrise boat trip where we sail up the river in the dark to greet the sunrise.
When you return from this unique experience, breakfast is ready with coffee and tea. After breakfast we prepare for the long-awaited village walk. We will give you some instructions as to what agreements we will adhere to during the visit, we are greeted upon arrival by one of the captains of the village of Amotopo. We walk around together and you will receive information of what you see and we will explain the history of the village and the Trio population. We end at the local “market” where the people of Amatopo offer a variety of homemade jewelry and works of art that stem from their centuries-old tradition. With your purchase you immediately provide a source of income for the local population so your support is very much welcomed.
When you return to the resort you will have some free time to do your own thing, after which lunch will be ready again.
We will keep the afternoon free from planned activities, but we have planned another tasty surprise. Today the bar opens before dinner, so enjoy an ice-cold beer or freshly squeezed juice in the afternoon breeze.

The dinner prepared by Chef is served from 7:00 PM and once again contains new fusion elements that connect the Surinamese and European food cultures.
After dinner we get back in the boat for a spectacular end to this special day on the river and very close to all the sounds that come from the forest and the stilness of the dark river. The spotlights come along so we can also spot nocturnal animal life if we are lucky. When it is a clear night you have millions of stars above...
