Discover the Best of Amatopo

This departure day is also built in as a rest day for guests who stay with us longer. After breakfast we will go kayaking together. You will be taken upstream by a tugboat and then you will float downstream in complete silence until you return to the resort. If you can't get enough of it, you can continue paddling quietly in front of the resort and for real kayakers there is of course also the option of trying to get up against the rapids.
Then it is time for the departing guests to check out and we will take you to the airstrip.

Around noon it is time for lunch, after which you are free to make your own plans at the resort.
This day is also often used by guests who would like to book a fishing trip. You can then go out for a half or full day with our local guides and boatsman who both know the good places to catch anjoemara (wolffish), black piranha, pacu (fruit-eating cousin of the piranha) or tukunarie (peacock bass). If you are a beginner, we can also offer you training and you can rent the well-equipped fishing rods with reel, braided line, steel leader and artificial bait (lure) from us.

In the afternoon we have another tasty surprise for you on the menu and from 3:30 PM the bar will also be open for that bit of extra fun. Today the kitchen crew again went out of their way to put the best on the table for you.
